What a fantastic first half time we have had. Now onto our second and we have lots of exciting things ahead. 

Our topic for this half term is The Pendle Witches. In History, we will be learning all about why Thomas Potts wrote 'The Wonderful Discoverie of Witches' and look closely into the trials of the accused. We also have our exciting class assembly which will be based on our topic. 

In Science, we will be learning all about Earth and Space. We will be delving into our solar system and seeing how the ideas of the solar system have changed over time. 

Our class novel is Holes. We will be using our reading skills to delve deeper into the text and improve our fluency. In English, we will using Robot Girl to inspire our writing. We will be writing our own narrative using the structure of our book and an explanation text after creating our own robots.   

Some children will also continue to spend time in our Falcon Forest School this half-term. Please remember to wear old clothes and bring wellies on Mondays. Children who do not go to Forest School this half-term will take part in Spring 1/2.
